SINGAPORE - Datacraft Asia has signed a partnership agreement with Singapore telco StarHub to offer a comprehensive suite of business solutions for international connectivity to organisations across Asia.

Datacraft is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dimension Data, a US$4 billion leading global IT solutions and services provider.

“Datacraft Asia will be able to offer selected StarHub business solutions and connectivity services to 13 countries in Asia and the United States, expanding StarHub’s reach into those countries,” the IT services company told the media. “At the same time, the agreement will enhance Datacraft’s wide-ranging portfolio of business services to multinational corporations and small-to-medium enterprises around the region.”

The partnership is focused on the following three areas — converged communications, business continuity services and managed solutions. IP telephony, telepresence, backup and recovery, remote server and network management are some of the managed service offerings that clients can expect from this strategic partnership, the company said.

“Through this partnership, we will now be able to provide a complete one-stop shop that combines StarHub’s high-quality Internet connections with Datacraft’s established end-to-end systems integration capabilities, ensuring that businesses have the ability to expand their regional info-communications and IT operations conveniently and cost-effectively,” said Tan Tong Hai, chief operating officer of StarHub.

StarHub has over the last few years built its international broadband capacity by investing in major undersea cables such as APCN2 and the Asia-America Gateway to meet the needs of broadband-heavy enterprises that require high-quality, resilient connections throughout Asia and the United States.
