Sync Outlook 2010 with Your Google Calendar

SAN FRANCISCO - Today’s hassle is short and sweet. Actual, the hassle itself is nothing of the kind, but the solution certainly is.

Last month I explained how to sync Outlook with your Google Calendar, a task made possible by Google’s free Calendar Sync utility.
Just one problem: it worked only with Outlook 2003 and 2007, not the newer Outlook 2010.

Today brings good news: Google Calendar Sync now supports Outlook 2010. Read my original post to learn how to use it (the setup is exactly the same) and why you absolutely, positively should.
Alas, for the moment, the tool (version 0.9.3.6) works only with the 32-bit version of Outlook 2010. If you have the 64-bit version, you’ll have to be patient a little longer. I’m sure Google will add support eventually (but, man, the company sure does take its sweet time sometimes, doesn’t it?).
