Arlington Heights, ILLINOIS — ePLDT Ventus announced that it has signed a contract to provide Programmers Investment Corporation (PIC) with an array of outsourced voice services, including customer care, product up-selling, order processing, and day-to-day product inquiries. ePLDT Ventus will support one of PIC’s major business divisions: Holsted Jewelers under the Sears and Fingerhut accounts.
The contract with ePLDT Ventus enables PIC to provide excellent customer service, introduce new products, all the while reducing their operating costs. ePLDT Ventus President Helen Marquez says, “As providing superior customer service is important to PIC, so it is for ePLDT Ventus. We are committed to treating our Clients’ customers as if they were our own, so that they receive service equal to or better than what is being provided at present, at a much lower cost to our Clients.”
Standardized and customized training in processes, products and services, as well as superb English language skills and customer focus separate ePLDT Ventus from other vendors of these services. Their Program Transition Team flew to PIC’s headquarters in Arlington Heights, Illinois where their goal was to properly absorb and appreciate PIC’s business approach, expectations and needs. The ePLDT Ventus Train the Trainer Program conducted during the Illinois immersion also ensured a seamless transition to Manila in terms of existing PIC performance levels and customer experience. “Part of our standard process is to immerse ourselves in the business culture of our Clients, to personally understand the unique nature of each business establishment so that we can provide the highest level of personalized service,” Marquez notes, “We know that cost brings the customers in, but we have proved time and time again that it is definitely quality that makes them stay.”
PIC President Rick Ziemek commented on this engagement by saying, “ePLDT Ventus enabled us to choose the solutions we need for our existing customers. We hope that they can help us fulfill our mission to effectively provide innovative solutions to our prestigious client base. In this difficult economic environment, a cost-effective solution such as the ePLDT Ventus outsourced services helps us efficiently ensure our customers’ success and thereby exceed their expectations.”
Marquez adds, “Ventus shares PIC’s belief in working hard to ensure our end customer’s success. This contract with PIC will give us the opportunity to prove that we indeed deliver exceptional service. We look forward to a great year with them indeed.”
